We enjoyed a wonderful vacation on your gulets. The crew was terrific. They were capable, attentive and fun. They offered great ideas for anchorages and side trips. The cook produced delicious and plentiful meals from his cozy galley. Those meals were great highlights of our experiience. The gulets were clean and quite comfortable. Thank you again for your assistance in planning our Turkish gulet trip. I highly recommend Boating Turkey for anyone considering a gulet charter trip in Turkey. When I first began reaching out to brokers, I was connected to Eastern European agencies who could not answer very basic questions about the boats or the itineraries. When I found Boating Turkey, and began to work with Necmi, I was delighted to learn that the brokerage is based in Bodrum. They are intimately involved with the local gulet business, and were extremely helpful in planning our trip. Necmi was able to provide several gulet options for our group of 16. Once we decided on the Ametist A, Necmi and Rusen were always quick to respond and helpful in making changes and additions per our needs.
Upon our arrival in Bodrum, Rusen was on the boat to greet us. He stayed for a couple of hours to make sure that everything was ready prior to our departure. We made last minute changes to catering and water toys for the week, and Rusen was happy to help with the logistics. He seemed genuinely reluctant to leave until he was assured the crew was ready to leave and we had everything we needed.
As for the boat and crew, we could not have been happier. Captain Recep was well attuned to our wishes, and constantly found beautiful, secluded and protected coves for swimming, hiking ashore, and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. We marveled at his ability to park a beamy 27 foot boat in a 25 foot wide space at the dock. Chef SĂĽleyman earned a round of applause at every meal. It was unreal how he could produce such varied and plentiful meals from such a small space. Basar, Ismail, and Olgun were excellent deck hands who quickly learned our likes and thoughtfully attended to all of our needs. The week would not have been the same without such an outstanding crew.
Thank you again to Necmi and Rusen for helping us put together a truly wonderful vacation. We can’t wait to get back!

Our first experience on a Gulet we had in these last September days (2018). After an ?nternet research I contacted Mr Necmi Artar for a 5 day trip for 2 person. He proposed for 2 people a trip with the boat M/S Remo with the Captains Celal and Ismet (his son) and the younger son Emir. Today will finish our small adventure in the Gulf of Gökova Körfezi and we are really sorry.
The boat is comfortable with a big master cabin and as we are only 2 people we can put the luggage in a smaller cabin. We stopped and stayed in beautiful lonely bays with cristal clear water. Sometimes we could go on the islands to have nice walks in the pine forest. Every day Isemt and Emir cooked delicious Turkish specialities with a lot of fresh vegetables. Everything was very tasty and we discovered the variety of Turkish specialities. Celal the younger son took care of cleaning, anchoring. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The father speaks a little bit of English, enough to have some nice chat. The best months are June and September, water is still 25° warm but not many Gulets are around and you really enjoy peace and heaven. The family is really lovely and they know the best bays to stay. We could not have a better boat. We felt like honeymooners! (after 13 years of marriage)
PS: The wines we could order on the winelist were really good!

We had a absolute ball! We are 9 middle age friends who hired a self catering Gulet, not quite knowing what to expect! We didn't want to eat on board every night, but wanted to go ashore to socialise! Wow - Zigi ( our gracious Captain ), Ersan ( 2nd mate and a superb waiter) and Josef ( an amazing Chef, whose food surpassed any eaten ashore!), made our time on board, better than anything we could have expected! Never belly laughed so much in years, we all returned back to work horizontal! Thank you so very, very, much!

The booking and pre-trip procedures were made very straightforward for us, leading us to arrive at Dalaman airport with great confidence. Our gulet, Dea Delmare was simply stunning and we had a crew that were attentive whenever we needed anything and invisible when we were enjoying our charter. The food provided was unbelievably good, none of us could believe the quantity and variety of dishes that kept appearing from such a small place. The weather was fantastic and, set against such a beautiful backdrop, combined to create a memorable holiday. Our charter was onboard the “Azra Deniz” a 26 meter gulet complete with a crew of 3. She was not a five star but very comfortable in every way. The crew were sensational, the skipper, the chef and our ever smiling deckhand were always helpful and our itinerary included some of the wonderful villages, coves and historic sites of Turquoise Coast. We also has a visit to Simi in Greece which we all enjoyed. The weather was very kind to us, so there was plenty of swimming, canoeing and sunbathing, lots of time for relaxation as well. Each night we would decide on where we would go the next day and what we would do but most of the time we followed our skipper’s suggestions, he really ensured we has quite diverse experiences both in scenery and activities.
Our chef constantly prepared the most amazing meals, to good in fact as the waistlines slowly expanded! We were just amazed at his skills.
Our group had the most wonderful holiday, our crew certainly made a major contribution to this. The coast of Turkey is exquisite and its people are so warm and friendly and the food and wine superb.
Necmi came to meet us when we arrived on the boat in Marmaris and we appreciated that he did. He drove down from Bodrum. He really knows his bussiness and that is so important when you are organising travel plans from so far away.

A big thank you to both of you who arranged our recent Gulet trip from Marmaris.
Your company, Boating Turkey kept us well informed and were very prompt and attentive in responding to our requests,
the whole booking process was made easier because of this.
Thanks for arranging the S.U.P. with such short notice, it was great fun especially behind the Joker.
The trip was simply amazing and one that will be cherished for a long time as we all have fond memories of it.
The M/S Ametist A was a great boat that catered ideally for all our needs; the boat was in good condition, clean,
and the cabins were very neat and tidy, plenty of deck area for socializing.
Captain Recep and his crew - Ismail, Olgun, Sezgin and Suleyman were all very obliging and attentive ensuring all our needs
were catered for and they were all great fun to be with.
We explored the beautiful Datca coastline along with the Greek Islands of Simi and Rhodes visiting beautiful coves to swim
during the day and great anchorages for our cocktails and overnight stays.
Captain Recap's ensured that our safety was paramount at all times, his skills behind the helm were absolutely outstanding as
he manoeuvred the boat into very tight docks without a problem and with the help of his experienced crew.
Every meal on board was delicious thanks to Chef Suleyman's great culinary skills, how he was able to produce quality, tasty meals from the small galley was amazing.
From breakfast to lunch to afternoon tea and then dinner, he ensured that we all were well catered for with plenty of food to go around.
Thanks again for all your assistance with this wonderful Gulet trip which far exceeded all our expectations, we all look forward to one day sailing again with Boating Turkey.

A few weeks ago, I told my wife I wanted to visit family in the Netherlands. She agreed but wanted to go to another country for half the visit just to see something new. She was thinking Belgium or Germany or? The first thing I did was start looking for a last minute catamaran to charter. We have never done this before and did not know what to expect. I read lots of warnings on the internet about booking from smaller companies, but this was the only boat available in our price range. We were also a little unsure about travel in Turkey, with all the world news lately etc. We are back on the docks after an absolutely amazing time on the water and totally enjoyed the hospitality of the Turkish people we have met on our travels. The people at Aura Charters are excellent to work with and full of smiles and quick to help. I just wanted to send you this message of thanks and appreciation for everything you have done for us.

It happens very rarely when I'm completely satisfied with the services offered, but this was the case.
In the beginning of may 2008 I was getting completely annoyed with constant delays and misinformation after numerous attempts to charter a catamaran via Russian or Greek companies. It was then I found Boating Turkey website, which straight away proved to be well laid-out and informative. So I sent a request for a catamaran charter and expected to wait another week or two for a reply, the usual time for the other companies. Imagine my surprise when 3 hours later I got my reply! One week later our holiday was fully booked and paid for.
I was very pleased with this punctuality and thoughtfulness. I felt like I was talking to a friend rather than a company that's trying to sell me something. Another advantage of Boating Turkey was a very detailed contract, with no hidden costs, everything laid out clearly (apparently this happens very rarely).
Our first charter with Boating Turkey was on board Lavezzi 40 catamaran, my husband and I, accompanied by a Turkish skipper Umit. Turkey, weather, wind - everything was great. Umit showed us a lot of beautiful little places which we would have never found ourselves.
Our next charter was with a larger crew of 6 people, with a skipper named Hans. This trip was even better than the 1st, it was a perfect mix of active sailing, chilling in the little deserted bays, practicing various maneuvers on a catamaran, and discovering places of cultural interest. Hans impressed us with his complete knowledge of sailing and Turkey in particular, as well as his great sense of humor.
About us: we are a married couple in our early fifties, my husband got his RYA Dayskipper qualification last year, I completed a RYA Competent Crew course. We decided to charter a few boats first with the skipper to feel completely confident when we charter the boat for ourselves.
I'd like to thank Boating Turkey, and Necmi, Umit and Hans in particular for a great time we've spent this summer! We hope to work with Boating Turkey again in the future!

Necmi Artar, the tour manager, was a pleasure to work with. Together, we mapped out several destinations to sail to in the Gulf of Bodrum. Necmi was always a pleasure to work with. Every time I emailed him he replied immediately. I found this comforting and never felt the need to speak with Necmi by phone, or worried that some part of the trip would fall through the cracks. He answered every question I had with virtual smile on his face.
The gulet we were on was immaculate, and very spacious. We never felt overcrowded. The crew were very accommodating. In fact, part way through the trip we decided that we wanted to spend some evenings in ports that had entertainment. The captain of the ship fully accommodated our request by turning the boat around and sailing in the other direction towards Greece. We were on the sea during the day and in some fantastic ports by night.
Lastly, the food was fresh and very tasty. I would certainly recommend Boating Turkey to anyone who asks me about renting a private yacht in Turkey or Greece.

Communication flowed frequenty prior to our trip and questions were answered and honest advice given . We would be very happy to reccommend Boating Turkey
We had a smooth transfer from Dalaman to Marmaris . On arrival at the harbour , our rep from Boating Turkey greeted us and after a brisk 5 minute walk we arrived at our waiting boat. The large map came out and we discussed our route . The whole point of the boat trip was to relax , sunbathe & enjoy the tranquil coast as opposed to hopping on and off and sightseeing etc .
The suggestion made suited us all perfectly ...........we were going to sail the Gokova Gulf : Marmaris, Hisaronu Gulf (Selimiye, Bozburun, Orhaniye, Bencik, Symi), Knidos, The Northern Shores of Datça Peninsula, Seven Islands, English Harbour, Sedir Island and to end in Karacasogut, with a transfer to the Airport after breakfast .
After an introduction to the boat & it´s crew , with G & T´s in hand , we set sail on our Turkish Gulet adventure . .Our crew were Captain Hasam , Chef Ertam & Burak .
After a few hours we docked in a small bay and had a swim . Our first evening meal certainly had the WOW factor as did every meal after that to be honest . We had customised our own drinks package following recommendations by the company and we were very happy with the beer & wine chosen .
We all decided to sleep on deck the first night under the beautiful night sky , watching shooting stars , satellites moving and the odd airplane and trying to work out which star was which ! The following morning we woke at day break and watched the most amazing sunrise . The generator was usually turned off from 1 am til appx 7 am when chef then started to prepare breakfast .
Each day followed a similar pattern .... sunrise , eat , swim , sail , eat , swim , sail , swim , eat , sleep under the stars . We did not tire of seeing the amazing scenery , the turquoise sea and the beautiful bays . There was sufficient equipment on board , although we did take our own snorkels . There was plenty to see under the water including a couple of turtles .
Our crew spoke practically no English and between us we did not know any Turkish words and yet we got along fabulously - they were so polite & accomodating and when invited , joined in with our fun & games .
Our compact double bedroom ( used only for changing clothes ) was basic but had everything required and our en suite bathroom was basic but again suited our needs . We had asked that on my husband´s birthday we could dock somewhere and get off the gulet for a couple of hours for a change of scenery .
This was no problem , our Captain took us to the harbour town of Datcha and we spent a couple of hours clicking on wifi and catching up on the outside world ( no wifi on board ) , but after a few drinks we were ready to set sail again .
If there was anything I would class as negative , it was the sudden arrival of wasps at sunrise & sunset - obviously this is nothing to do with the Captain , but maybe it would be worth them investing in some anti-wasps stiky tape ? We were warned about mosquitos but didn´t seam to encounter too many of these.
The only other thing I would suggest is a change of bath towel during the trip as you do shower quite a lot ! ( We took our own beach/pool towel )
All in all , I think we were all pleasantly surprised at how fantastic our holiday was and it was all thanks to the crew on board as well as the company for what they offered . The whole experience surpassed our expectations .

We had the most wonderful relaxed and stress free family holiday ever. The sea was warm and so beautiful and we spend many happy hours swimming and snorkelling.
The boat was beautiful and the crew was so accommodating and friendly, always striving to make us happy. Our captain always docked in the best spots in the most beautiful little bays and our chef put together some wonderful meals, including some lovely desserts. We were even spoilt with baked cake with afternoon tea. Our captain did the barbecuing or braaing as we know it in South Africa. He was an absolute champ at cooking on the open fire on the deck. Burak, the third crew member assisted in all areas. He was an absolute character and kept my family entertained. His new name being 007.
Thank you to the entire crew for making our boating week so special. A holiday that my family will remember with very special memories for a very long time.Turkey is a very special place to visit. We loved exploring the coast on the boat. Bodrum was absolutely charming and our second visit to Istanbul was as amazing as our first. The people of Turkey are kind, giving, friendly and honourable. My family will definitely return to Turkey.

I communicated with Necmi about not being happy with it and he immediately (with an hour) arranged another beautiful boat (Sumru Sultan) for me. This boat was going out of Marmaris instead of Bodrum. But Necmi helped on this immediately and he arranged all the transfer for free of charge. The drivers were on time and very cordial. They like us had a great time and even though my sister in law cannot swim, the crew were very kind and took her ashore so she could wade and bathe in the shallow waters every time we moored up in a bay. Just like last year everything went well. We had a few problems with a suitcase that was lost in travel, but Necmi supported us perfectly. He made sure that the luggage was delivered in a practical way. He also organized transfers from and to the airport with very good service. Our recent two week holiday with Captain Cevat, Hassan & Bulent onboard Yildizhanlar 11 with 3 other couples from Australia, I would describe as a wonderful life experience that was thoroughly enjoyable with lovely memories!
Where to start? The scenery from Bodrum to Gocek was incredible, the swimming in such clear tranqual waters amazing.
The food Bulent cooked was absolutely devine, always varied and obviously lots of preparation and thought put into each meal, we ate like kings and queens! The chips in the morning omelette, the fresh fish and chicken dishes were a real hit!
Captain Cevat was a delight, his knowledge of the areas we travelled, his expertise sailing and handling his gulet was obvious and reassuring, we felt very safe and looked after. We appreciated that Captain Cevat took the time to accompany us on some of our excursions, we obviously learnt more about the surroundings by having him with us to ask any questions and knowing where to go to get the best view.
But the real hidden treasure onboard Yildizhanlar 11 was Hassan, his gentle, obliging manner to our every whim was just amazing. Hassan made a point to remember what each of us liked to drink upon waking, he would have a lovely cup of turkish tea, coffee or apple tea ready for us. All throughout the day, Hassan made sure we were comfortable, well fed and watered (including the best “knock your socks off” gin and tonics!) he took care of “all” our domestic duties. Hassan did this in a very unobtrusive and professional manner, it was an absolute delight to of met him. (His smile is priceless!)
I could not fault our trip, it was just what we were looking for, lots of relaxing, reading, eating, relaxing, sleeping, eating, drinking, sleeping!
I hope other Australians take advantage of this wonderful adventure and have a wonderful trip on a gulet like us.

We really loved sailing in Turkey and everything was very professional. The boat was excellent and in fine conditions and the skipper was technically, as far as we can evaluate, very good. In the first day we change the itinerary that was initially (Marmaris – Bodrum) agreed with no problem and we did a bigger course and went to marvellous places and paradisiacal bays. We were so lucky that we even saw two Dolphins and one sperm-whale!!

Thank you very much for arranging our Turkish Gulet holiday in July, 2009. This was our second boating holiday with Boating Turkey, and we absolutely loved it! We chartered the Miriam Sophie, a 28 metre luxury gulet with two other families, and cruised from Marmaris, through Turkey, to Symi and Rhodes. Our captain and his family, who were the crew, were very amenable, and did everything they could to make our trip fantastic. The food was superb, you really wonder how they can whip up such great dishes on a boat! The coves and islands we visited were all gorgeous, and the highlight I think was our 3 nights in Symi, the harbour was just gorgeous, with Italian colonial architecture and brilliant cafes, then the following 2 nights were spent in little coves with the most magnificent blue water to swim in. The captain also took us to his home port in Turkey, Green Village, which was delightful.
The itinerary was very flexible, and crew happy to accommodate our choices. The boat was immaculately maintained, the cabins were large and roomy, the bathrooms were spacious and had a proper shower and toilet. There was loads of deck space both up front with sunbeds for all, and at the rear, which was enormous. We loved to sleep on deck, falling asleep with the stars at night. The captain was very skilled, we were amazed how he could manoevre such a large boat into tight spaces.
All in all, we had a brilliant experience. The booking and organization process was extremely simple, easy and smooth, and Necmi was very patient with us as we changed plans several times during the booking and departure period. The drinks etc were all pre-ordered via the net.
If you want a truly relaxing holiday, the sun and breeze in your face and not a care in the world, you can't beat this. No TV (they did actually have TV but we didn't tell the kids that) no phones, no worries.....

We had a wonderful vacation. The boat was very nice and clean when we arrived. We had a defect of one of the engines, but that was correctly taken care off. Our group of six travelled from the USA to charter the 3 cabin Oceanis 50 that you arranged for us. I have chartered yachts many times over the last 30 years. Our experience with your agency was flawless, from the information provided about our yacht, her equipment and condition, to your timely response to my many inquiries. The Port of Gocek, and the Skopea Marina operation is truly impressive, which comes as no surprise when you see some of the fine yachts that are berthed at the facility. Your contractor that handles the inspection, care and maintenance of the fleet is extremely professional and patient. We were able to get underway early on the first day of our charter. Our group likes to sail, and over the course of the week we were able to sail as far East as Kalkan and as far West as Ekincik, enjoying the beautiful and rugged scenery along the way. It was also a pleasant surprise to be able to communicate with such ease everywhere we visited. While we had the capability of six languages on board, the easiest for us was English, and it was spoken everywhere we went. In summary, our yacht was well equipped and in excellent condition, and our group had a terrific experience that I would recommend to others without reservation.

Everything went very well. The yacht – Dufour 385 – was in a good condition and, as I discovered, very easy to steer, also when pushing back. Gocek is always a good place to start, with a lot of restaurants in small bays nearby. Fethye is only a few hours sailing away. The one-way charter is not a bad choice, because the relatively long way from Fethye/Gocek gulf to Marmaris with less places convenient to stop has to be taken into account only once. That offers the chance to visit more places, drop the anchor in more bays, than in case one has to think about returning to the marina of origin in time.
All in all, we enjoyed the trip very much and unexpectedly, it was as warm in September as it was end of July.
This year I don't think I have a chance to sail once more, but next year at the earliest convenience, when weather condition are preferable I will….

From my very first contact with Necmi at Boating Turkey a year before our trip, I had confidence in what to expect due to his prompt and professional dealings via email to me in New Zealand. Necmi assisted us with both the ideal Gulet and itinerary for our group of 8 adults and 3 children all within our required budget.
The Gulet La Finale was a lovely, large boat that met the needs of everyone in our group - activities for the kids, spaces for relaxation and social gatherings and areas for those needing to do business. The crew of 4 ably led by their captain were wonderful - all professional, yet friendly and joined in with our activities when invited to do so. We felt like they were there to please us, at times seeming to go beyond what was required of them. They included us in decisions about where to moor overnight and when to stop off or move on and were also accommodating with things like wi-fi and air conditioning. They also recommended places to visit on shore and used the tender to transfer us to land. The food was excellent and varied. We chose for Boating Turkey to purchase drinks on our behalf and this worked well and was a reasonable option. The 6 cabins included 2 master cabins and 4 en-suites - at times they were too hot for sleeping so some of our group slept under the stars. We all agreed that 7 days was not quite long enough! This was our first sail in Turkish waters, in an area we know little of and also the first time crossing international borders sailing. These, together with the idea that I am dealing with a company of which the reputation can only be gauged through previous reviews, raised many questions. Although all of these were promptly and efficiently answered by Necmi during the months long planning stage of the trip, I was still a little apprehensive about what we would encounter once we got there.
On arrival in Bodrum, we received clear directions to the marina in Turgutreis where all the formalities were handled in a very friendly, yet professional manner by SHY, allowing us to depart on an unforgettable holiday experience. Additional information on custom agents on the Greek islands were accurate, but at the same time could not match the excellent service we received from all the officials and the charter company throughout the trip. Everybody really went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and without any need to worry about anything. Any problems encountered with the boat were dealt with efficiently and we were refunded for any interim expenditure to get us going again.
Thank you Necmi, for your patience with all our questions and for organising the ideal boat! I am not sure what your involvement was with the organisation of the perfect weather we experienced, but thank you for that too! Also pass on our gratitude to Cigdem Ulu from SHY for her assistance and efforts in making sure that their services were tailored to our needs. Also to Vassilis Kapadakis from the Kalymna Yachting Club and Dimitris Kastis from Greek Yacht Services on Leros, for their assistance with moorings, supplies, custom clearance, immigration and general advice.

Along with Boating Turkey they were responsible for one of the most enjoyable weeks we as a family with our in law children have had in our lives.
This was a dream come true to us as we have been dreaming about this cruise for 6 years as we did plan a similar trip 6 years ago, but had to abandon it as 2 of the couples pulled out. My first contact with Boating Turkey for this trip was already in May last year and I had a very responsive feedback from Necmi on every e-mail that I have sent to him. He was very helpful in assisting us in all the arrangements.
Due to a limited budget we chartered the smallest boat that we could get hold of, but we were pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the interior of the boat. The two smaller cabins were a bit uncomfortable but fine for the two younger couples in our group. We fortunately experienced excellent weather and could therefore spend all the time on the deck. Gathering as a family on the foredeck while cruising was a real family binding experience.
Our captain and chef were excellent hosts as they were always there but never intruding into our privacy despite the limited circulation space. Yavuz gave us a feeling of having everything under control at all times even during a very rough spot on the open sea when we were cruising against a very strong wind. Compliments to our wonderful chef Serkan who had the ability to prepare the most wonderful meals in his small kitchen. Lunch and dinner was always a pleasant surprise with the fresh fish speared by then at night something very special.
Even to us as South Africans with a very weak currency the trip was very affordable and goes highly recommended. It was an unforgettable week on the Turkish coast.

Well back in Denmark we all want to thank you for a perfect arranged holiday onboard Perla del Mar. Everything was as our high expectations or even better. Your timing with plane and bus and boat ( and back again) was perfect. The boat was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable to be onboard. All the people we met, especially the crew, were very friendly and helpful. The food onboard was very well prepared wit lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, fish (seafood) and lamb. One of our best family-holidays ever....

We had a safe return after a very enjoyable week in Perla del Mare 2.
Just to give you a feed back of our week.
What was good:
-The Captain and the crew generally speaking.
-The food very well cooked.
-The bays chosen by the Captain, very nice and quiet.
-The outside of the Gulet.
What was not good:
-The interior of the boat did not have any renovation as you said, she was not in a good condition, quite a lot of things did not work properly.
-The lay out was different of the one that was sent, and the crew were 5 and not 6 as shown on the photographs sent to us.
We changed our destination because of weather conditions, and we ended up by staying around Gocek, but we enjoyed very very much the week.
Thank you for the organization and I hope we will go back to Turkey again.

Thank you for your help in finding us the gulet Remo in Göceck. We had a wonderful time with our two grand children. The owner and his two sons were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was amazing, the elder son is a great cook! They did everything to make our trip pleasant and were very patient with the two boys who were very lively (!) and not easy with their food.
If I had one regret it was that I am used to eating a lot of fruit and there was hardly ever any. Maybe I should have asked? My fault I guess. Also, it would be more convenient for those passengers who stay in a hotel before their cruise to be picked up and brought directly to the boat.,we/our taxi did not know where to go to find the boat and expected us to walk around the port carrying our heavy luggage in search of the gulet. Luckily the captain's son came to help us after a while! Would definetely book with you again, it was an ideal holiday with children, also thank you for recommending Efe Hotel in Göceck it was ideal with small children: well located and the pool was most appreciated(they never wanted to get out!).

The food was exceptional especially given the size of a galley kitchen and each day we ate very well. Celal chose idyllic locations for daily swimming and snorkelling and our boys had great fun kayaking, waterskiing and of course jumping off the boat! Some highlights on shore were visiting the ancient city of Kaunos, the rock tombs and seeing the endangered loggerhead turtles.
Boating Turkey were very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We hope to revisit the Turkish coast and would not hesitate using Boating Turkey again.

The weather has been as in the catalogues. Sailing in the smooth spring time winds on a well equiped boat was so easy.
And you did a big deal to our satisfaction! Already during our e-mail-contact you built up a warm and friendly atmosphere. We have always felt being well informed. Whatever you told us, it has been correct. There have never been any problems, in contacting, booking, changing, paying, in- or outchecking. Again we thank you a lot for the free ride to Antalya - more than 200 kms! - in a quite new and comfortable car with a wide luggage boot and big windows to be fed up with a marvellous landscape. It was a fortune to change the harbour because we like the small city of Göcek. Mr. Turgut is a smooth and gentle man, he did everything to comfort us. He has always been reachable if we tried to contact him. And we were lucky to get a bigger boat, so we took profit from a lot of space. The Hey Joe is a boat without useless things but good sailing equipment. Roll-Fock and Roll-Groß make sailing easy, especially the autopilot because we always had a quite sea. As we had absolute good weather conditions we need not bring us or the boat to the limit. Though we think she would work greatly. The plotter and the gps might be helpful things then - we only used them to control what we could see by eye. The good cards and the detailed book about harbours and bays were best helpers to find a jolly good place in a bay for the night. However, we intensively used the platform for bathing and the dinghy for short trips. We loved to have good kitchen facilities to prepare the delightful Turkish fish and vegetables. A shower in the lighted and big dimensioned bathroom was always an enliven action. We never felt cold in the bed-linen.

From our first moment on board when we were shown around the bedrooms, bathrooms, dining area and so on I knew I would be having a once in a lifetime experience. The polished wood, the royal blue shade cloths and sunbathing areas all added to the feeling of luxury during our two weeks saling the stunning turkish waters and visiting the beautiful bays and sea side villages and ports along the coast. Every little wish of ours was immediately considered and acted upon by the crew and the Captain made sure every single day of a new view and always the best place to moor to please us. This included the use of the air conditioning at night which in late August was absolutely necessary and something we had been worrying about, though without any fuss our nights were as cool as we wanted by having the aircon on, thanks for that! The food was excellent, never boring, always very delicious and always served with grace and professionalism by the crew. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean, the whole boat for that matter washed down and scrubbed regularly and if there was the smallest problem in a bathroom for example it was dealt with immediately. We all felt that the two weeks was very good value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend your company to all of my friends.

We had an absolutely fabulous time on Pulp and Paper (Beneteau Oceanis 50)! Thank you very much for your help with everything and for recommending the boat. Despite being 5 years old, all the instruments, fittings, sail and rigging were in very good working order. We didn't have any problems at all in the 2 weeks we were on it. Despite its size, the four of us were able to sail, berth and moor the boat very easily.
Checking in was also a pleasure. The boat was ready for early check-in, as requested, so thank you for that too. Cigdem was ready and waiting for us at the boat to do the check-in paperwork, and it was fast and hassle-free. (In charters we've been on before we had to wait in charter offices for more than one hour to sort out paperwork etc. After being on a 20+ hour flight from Australia, the last thing we wanted was to stand in a hot, crowded office to do paperwork!)
So thank you again. We love sailing and cruising in Turkey. The coast is very well set up for sailing, people are friendly and welcoming and there are so many interesting places to see and things to do. We will definitely go back to see more!

We had a good cruise from Bodrum to Marmaris during early September of 2013.
A chef is always important in situations like these and Hassan certainly rose to the occasion, delivering a range of tasty, nutritious and healthy meals doing more than justice to the Turkish cuisine under difficult conditions.
The boat hands Arkhan and Aktihm were extremely diligent, keeping the boat spotless at all times. Aktihm was particularly pleasant with an omnipresent mischievous smile!
Duran, the skipper, performed his task well, demonstrating good seamanship at all times and proving to be an expert at preparing just about anything on the bow mounted barbeque. He chose a sensible route, selecting good overnight stops in beautiful coves, passages and charming villages. Communicating our route, advice and suggestions about what to do ashore and engagement generally was somewhat limited.
Our diverse group from South Africa and New Zealand got on really well, truly enjoying the on board hospitality.
We were somewhat disappointed that the boat was not fully equipped to sail rather than motor all the time. An on board wind surfer and snorkelling gear would have been welcome as well.
Besides that, we had a great time. Boating Turkey were flexible regarding our needs arriving and departing and we will use them again.

We would like to emphasize that from arrival until departure the whole trip was extremely well organized and arranged pick up at airport, reception at hotel with room available to freshen up during our waiting time before boarding, lunch, transport to boat, were very helpulf and considerate.
The reception on boat by crew was very warm, personal and helpful. The crew explained choices for departure which were left up to us, no pressure not throughout the whole trip.
They accomodated us in any way and we can't emphasize enough how helpful and warm the crew was to us. The meals were every time a big suprise and delicious, to say nothing of the fantastic presentation!! The cleaning of the bathrooms was done at times so that it was no inconvenience to us, crew kept the boat tidy and clean. Trip was fantastic we got to see wonderful spots and we all felt sorry when we had to return. Sadly we said goodbye to the crew, but we were happy to have had such a wonderful experience for our first boat trip
We are so enthusiastic that we encouraged quite a number of friends to book this kind of trip. We are going Again in 2006 with friends from the U.S.A. who after having seen our pictures and heard the stories immediately were up for making a booking.

I would like to thank you for organising our boating trip for our party of 8 – we joined our boat for the last week of June 2013 in Fethyie and travelled to Marmaris although we spent most of the time in the Gocek Bay area. The waters were flat and calm, so much so, it is as if you are on a lake!
The food prepared by our cook was delicious and plentiful – we had our wedding anniversary and a birthday on board and the staff made it special by arranging a cake! Our boat was a 21 metre gulet with 4 cabins which was extremely comfortable, each had own shower ensuite. Lovely front and back deck to laze the day away. Our 3 staff were brilliant and attentive, with Tegood always at the ready to refill our glass!
Nemci also arranged our transport from airports as well as the long trip from Bodrum to Fethyie, all went off without a hitch.
All in al,l a lovely relaxing holiday, beautiful scenery and sparkling blue waters! Would have no hesitation in recommending Necmi/Boating Turkey services.

When we decided to rent boats I sent some requests for a two boats charter to some companies. Imagine my surprise when some hours later I’ve got reply from Necmi! He answered all my questions immediately, gave me comprehensive information of charter. Some days later our holiday was fully booked and paid for.
Skipper of one of our boat was Turkish skipper Angen Deniz. Turkey, nice weather, good wind, fantastic sea - everything was great. Angen showed us a lot of beautiful little bays which we would have no visited ourselves.

The yacht my brother hired was very impressive – spacious, easy to sail and everything was in good working order. It was neat, very clean and the linen smelt divine! The hand-over was quick and effortless – also on return to port – all was handled very professionally. Your staff are friendly and helpful. It was a nice touch to have the mobile phone in case of emergency (which fortunately we never had to use).
Just a few small things which may further improve guests experience: -
It would have been great to have some dish sponges/ washing up cloths for washing dishes and also washing up liquid. As most of your guests come from other countries, these kind of groceries items are such a waste to purchase and not usually included in our food shop.
The pillows were quite uncomfortable – very hard. I only became use to it towards the end of the trip. â€Softer’ feather-down type or similar would be more suitable – we had these on the yacht we hired last year from a different charter company.
Perhaps also to include swimming towels – even as an extra option to guests to pre-order/ pay for and have on the yacht on arrival.
Thank you once again for a seamless arrival and departure – and a wonderful in between. Your country is beautiful!

Your Dalaman pick-up and drop off was ready to go and Gocek was a nice little town with easy shopping and free delivery, we stayed the previous night at Gorkem Apartments which were absolutely superb with a fabulous breakfast. It was easy to both depart from and return to the marina, we sailed to the East and made a number of stops including stern tie-ups and swing anchor and mooring evenings. 14 days is essential if you want to relax and spend a couple of nights in the towns like Kalkan and Kas where we found loads of good restaurants esp Zula and Ottoman in Kalkan.
As for the sailing we all had a great time with Beaufort 2-7, the hand over was very simple and thorough, the staff were very helpful and the yacht was ready to go several hours earlier than the 16.00 hrs so we sailed out that afternoon and had our first meal at a 'jetty restaurant' a couple of hours away.
The Turkish marine regulations for sanitation and mooring in many of the bays mean beautiful clean water to swim in straight off the boat morning noon and night. The neighbouring yacht at one place told us this was, (along with New Zealand) the best place to sail. As to yourself, you answered every email quickly, sorted out any problem that arose, and when we had a gear breakage it was fixed as quickly as possible. While sailing, we had to have a repair done. The repair team came where we were instead of calling us back to the harbor and was done surprisingly fast (within few hours).
This was our first experience with Boating Turkey and it was very nice. We recommend that you consider them if you plan to rent a boat in Turkish coasts.

They found the boat to be very clean, and with all the details as specified. The depth sounder did not work on the GPS console in the cockpit, and there were some issues with the alarm setting. ( The alarm went off on the depth at 10 meters....which meant the depth sounder was in a constant alarm state(noise!) while anchoring. ). The outboard motor stopped functioning day 4 or 5 ( bad gas?) .
Overall they were very satisfied and we would use your company again.

We would like to give you some feedback on our experience on our recent boating holiday in Turkey.
We were very impressed with the service starting with the transfer from the airport to Skopea Marina. On arrival we were welcomed by very efficient and professional staff who briefed us under the shade of the trees. Inge was especially helpful giving us a lot of advice and information on the sailing area and conditions. We also found the magazine â€The Bay Express’ very informative and we referred to it on a daily basis.
Our boat â€Opal’ was well equipped and spotlessly clean with fresh new linen and towels. Everything on board was well maintained and operational.
We thoroughly enjoyed sailing in Turkey. We loved the friendly people, wonderful food, beautiful scenery and clear turquoise water. We were also very impressed by the concern for the ecology.

He was very helpful with all our on the boat and on shore needs and arranged transportation to visit some of the ancient sites. The chef, Muret Sener made the most delicious meals. They were so good that we decided to have all our meals on the boat. In this way, we didn’t have to make any meal decisions, leaving all the choices to him, which we all enjoyed.
