What our clients say!

Having just returned from a week on Sun-World IX we have to say it was one of the best sailing trips we have ever had. The company “Boating Turkey†were wonderful to deal with from the very first email from Necmi. The “4 star†boat was very comfortable, well maintained and the captain and crew were excellent and waited on us hand and foot. The weather was excellent, sun shining every day and we visited some lovely bays and most of us swam every day. The water was crystal clear in most bays and although a little on the chilly side some days as it is tends to be in the Mediterranean, it was great to warm up in the sun then jump in to cool off. The chef was excellent and most of the food was typical Turkish style, made with very fresh ingredients and very tasty. The crew made a big effort to please everyone which is quite a feat in a party of 19 and also adapted meals to meet the special dietary requirements of some of our group. Although the group was large the boat was even larger and there was a cabin with ensuite for every 2 or 3 people and of course there was huge amounts of deck space to sunbathe, read or just lounge around. Some nights were warm and some people slept on the many cushions and sun beds up on deck but others found it was cool enough to sleep in their cabins with or without the air-conditioning working which was only when the generator was on. Having sailed at various places around the world on both bareboat and crewed charters over the last 32 years, we feel well qualified to say that this was a wonderful experience and we would love to sail with Boating Turkey again.

Dear Necmi

I just wanted to say a huge big thank you to you and Boating Turkey for the fantastic service we receive from the first email to the time we disembarked from your boat.

Our trip on your gullet was an experience none of us will ever forget and the 'little extras' you provided so effortlessly are much appreciated.
The staff on board the gullet the fantastic - attentive, caring and always just waiting to answer our every need.

A special thanks to Memet Snr who provided fantastic and healthy meals out of the tiny and very hot kitchen, Memet Jnr for the all the cleaning and endless round of drinks of and of course our very capable captain - JJ - who took us through some tricky situations to say the least. The crew were pleasant and caring and just knew how to be there but not be intrusive.

I would highly recommend you and your company to anyone who intends hiring a gullet for a holiday and would happily give a testimonial to anyone who asks.

Many thanks for making my sons' 21st birthday holiday so special - as you know we thoroughly enjoyed the belly dancer you arranged at such short notice.

Kind regards and once again a huge big thanks

Adriana Martini & all who spent a fantastic week aboard La Mer in July 2005

I would like to pass on my sincere thanks for arranging a really great boating holiday. We had never chartered a boat before and certainly never sailed in Turkey but you managed to simplify the whole process from beginning to end. From recommending the type of boat, arranging and talking through the contracts and in turn organizing the transfers to and from the boat, it was all executed perfectly. The boat itself (Rainbow) was outstanding, beautifully finished and very luxurious. The meals on the boat were also first class. Many thanks to you and your team it was gaily appreciated.

7 of us had the most superb weeks holiday on the Gullet Hasay in late June 2012. The boat had been completely renovated the previous year and was extremely comfortable. Our Captain, Typhoon, was fantastic with a good command of English and great sense of humour. Our Cook [ should be called a Chef ] named Marhoot [ sorry for spelling ] was so creative that whilst we had booked half board [ breakfast and 1 meal a day ] after 4 days we reprovisioned so that we did not have to get off the boat for meals. Memmo deserves a medal for his hard and enthusiastic work, he never allowed anyone’s glass to go dry at any time of the day or night, he decorated the dining table with fresh flowers and creative napkins for every meal all of this after cleaning and scrubbing every surface of the gullet every day. Well done to you all who made our holiday extremely memorable and we shall certainly be back next year and hope that Marhoot has not been made a captain and will still be in his spotless but tiny galley. Thank you all so much
