What our clients say!

Dear Rusen,

Thank you for your help in putting together the best vacation ever.

I would recommend Boating Turkey to anyone planning to charter a gulet in Turkey, and you definitely should. A friend had referred me to Boating Turkey, after he had fantastic experience, and I was not disappointed. Rusen gave us great options and informed us that since we booked the whole boat, we had flexibility in what we wanted to do. He recommended itineraries, based on our needs, as well as ensuring the requested equipment was on board. Rusen also arranged for us to tour the ancient city of Knidos with a guide. Our guide, Hamdi, was amazing - informative and entertaining, also recommended!

We were a group of 10 traveling as part of a 25th wedding anniversary celebration. The boat - the Grande Mare - and her crew fit our needs perfectly. The boat was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with extras as requested.

The crew was amazing! Memmet, the captain ensured we had secure, secluded inlets and met our request for good trails for hiking. Abdoulla our chef served us spectacular food with a great flare for presentation, he loved his work and took pride in every dish. The variety at every meal was amazing, with so many dishes to choose from. Kerem, our steward took great care of our every request with a great sense of humor. John and Ozzie, the deck hands and dingy drivers were engaging and friendly and very accommodating. While only Kerem was fluent in English (all had some English), they all made us feel welcome and ensured we were safe and had everything we needed. The crew made the trip even more memorable than the scenery and surroundings.

Thanks again to Rusen and the Boating Turkey team. It was the trip of a lifetime, and we will use them again!

Hello Necmi,

We would like to give you some feedback on our experience on our recent boating holiday in Turkey.

We were very impressed with the service starting with the transfer from the airport to Skopea Marina. On arrival we were welcomed by very efficient and professional staff who briefed us under the shade of the trees. Inge was especially helpful giving us a lot of advice and information on the sailing area and conditions. We also found the magazine ‘The Bay Express’ very informative and we referred to it on a daily basis.

Our boat ‘Opal’ was well equipped and spotlessly clean with fresh new linen and towels. Everything on board was well maintained and operational.

We thoroughly enjoyed sailing in Turkey. We loved the friendly people, wonderful food, beautiful scenery and clear turquoise water. We were also very impressed by the concern for the ecology.

We will definitely be back to explore more of your beautiful coastline.

7 of us had the most superb weeks holiday on the Gullet Hasay in late June 2012. The boat had been completely renovated the previous year and was extremely comfortable. Our Captain, Typhoon, was fantastic with a good command of English and great sense of humour. Our Cook [ should be called a Chef ] named Marhoot [ sorry for spelling ] was so creative that whilst we had booked half board [ breakfast and 1 meal a day ] after 4 days we reprovisioned so that we did not have to get off the boat for meals. Memmo deserves a medal for his hard and enthusiastic work, he never allowed anyone’s glass to go dry at any time of the day or night, he decorated the dining table with fresh flowers and creative napkins for every meal all of this after cleaning and scrubbing every surface of the gullet every day. Well done to you all who made our holiday extremely memorable and we shall certainly be back next year and hope that Marhoot has not been made a captain and will still be in his spotless but tiny galley. Thank you all so much

Dear Necmi,

Thank you very much for arranging our Turkish Gulet holiday in July, 2009. This was our second boating holiday with Boating Turkey, and we absolutely loved it! We chartered the Miriam Sophie, a 28 metre luxury gulet with two other families, and cruised from Marmaris, through Turkey, to Symi and Rhodes. Our captain and his family, who were the crew, were very amenable, and did everything they could to make our trip fantastic. The food was superb, you really wonder how they can whip up such great dishes on a boat! The coves and islands we visited were all gorgeous, and the highlight I think was our 3 nights in Symi, the harbour was just gorgeous, with Italian colonial architecture and brilliant cafes, then the following 2 nights were spent in little coves with the most magnificent blue water to swim in. The captain also took us to his home port in Turkey, Green Village, which was delightful.

The itinerary was very flexible, and crew happy to accommodate our choices. The boat was immaculately maintained, the cabins were large and roomy, the bathrooms were spacious and had a proper shower and toilet. There was loads of deck space both up front with sunbeds for all, and at the rear, which was enormous. We loved to sleep on deck, falling asleep with the stars at night. The captain was very skilled, we were amazed how he could manoevre such a large boat into tight spaces.

All in all, we had a brilliant experience. The booking and organization process was extremely simple, easy and smooth, and Necmi was very patient with us as we changed plans several times during the booking and departure period. The drinks etc were all pre-ordered via the net.

If you want a truly relaxing holiday, the sun and breeze in your face and not a care in the world, you can't beat this. No TV (they did actually have TV but we didn't tell the kids that) no phones, no worries.....
