Marmaris, which was built upon the antique Karian city; Phyckos has been under the governorship of many different civilisations. The most valuable work-piece that you will see today is Marmaris Castle dating from 1577. There is also a mosque and an 8-room caravansary covered with arches from the Ottoman Period. The ruins of the Antique times lie on Asar Hill; a short hill located on the northern side of the city. Being one of the best-known touristic places of Turkey Marmaris also has a large marina.

What our clients say!

We rented a sail boat from Boating Turkey in october 2011 for one week in Marmaris. Everything was handled profesionally from the very beginning, all our questions were answered quickly and clearly. later, we had to change our rental period, it was accomodated quickly and without any charge. When we arrived to Marmaris, the boat was ready on time, everything was as promised.

While sailing, we had to have a repair done. The repair team came where we were instead of calling us back to the harbor and was done surprisingly fast (within few hours).

This was our first experience with Boating Turkey and it was very nice. We recommend that you consider them if you plan to rent a boat in Turkish coasts.

We (3 friends) decided in early April to take a boating trip to Turkey and having reviewed a number companies we decided to go with Boating Turkey - our main reason to go for them was they proivde all the details we needed to make our decision without much effort. This experience got better as we began our booking and all our communications with Boating Turkey - I have to say that they are one of the most professional organisation I have dealt with in booking a holiday . We arrived in Bodrum for our holiday and everthing was as we expected or better - the transfer from the airport , the boat , the crew (we had a great captain and cook ), the places we visited, the food and the general atmosphere which made our holiday a most relaxing, chilled out week. This was a great holiday and one that we will remember for a long time. We will do it again next year I hope.

Thank you for everything
