Having just returned from a week on Sun-World IX we have to say it was one of the best sailing trips we have ever had. The company “Boating Turkey” were wonderful to deal with from the very first email from Necmi. The “4 star” boat was very comfortable, well maintained and the captain and crew were excellent and waited on us hand and foot. The weather was excellent, sun shining every day and we visited some lovely bays and most of us swam every day. The water was crystal clear in most bays and although a little on the chilly side some days as it is tends to be in the Mediterranean, it was great to warm up in the sun then jump in to cool off. The chef was excellent and most of the food was typical Turkish style, made with very fresh ingredients and very tasty. The crew made a big effort to please everyone which is quite a feat in a party of 19 and also adapted meals to meet the special dietary requirements of some of our group. Although the group was large the boat was even larger and there was a cabin with ensuite for every 2 or 3 people and of course there was huge amounts of deck space to sunbathe, read or just lounge around. Some nights were warm and some people slept on the many cushions and sun beds up on deck but others found it was cool enough to sleep in their cabins with or without the air-conditioning working which was only when the generator was on. Having sailed at various places around the world on both bareboat and crewed charters over the last 32 years, we feel well qualified to say that this was a wonderful experience and we would love to sail with Boating Turkey again.

Boating Turkey organised for us the most wonderful 7 day holiday on a gullet cruising down the coast of Turkey, July 2013. We are two Australian families with four children aged between 5 and 11. Necmi responded quickly to all our questions and queries and provided us with exceptional service and attention to detail he found us the perfect boat for two families and organised a wonderful local Turkish captain and crew. Thanks to Boating Turkey. We Just completed a great 5 days trip to Göcek. We are 3 (60 years schoolmates) friends. Mr Necmi was extremely helpful in planning our vacation. The Boat was Sun Odyssey 37 (JAMBOO) was middle age (2000 model) but very lovely lady. The price was very reasonable, the boat was in very good condition withot any problem during the sailing and had everything that we needed. The collection of the boat and the handling back was very easy and efficent. We were also very impressed by the attention to detail upon embarkation and disembarkation. The whole trip was excellent. We enjoy departing from Fethiye Ece marina and doing a round trip around Fethiye, Göcek Bay continuing to Ekincik My Marina. Göcek was wonderful we spend four days in Göcek and found numerous little bays to swim in and also pleasand bay side restaurants for dinner.. Thank to Boating Turkey, Mr Necmi and all the staff for making our sailing a memorable one.

Scott will unlikely have the time to respond so I though I would respond based on what he and my daughters said to me and my experience. I was so sorry not to go as it sounded like they had a great time and Turkey looks spectacularly beautiful. I am recovering well from the back surgery (but definitely would have preferred sailing!)

I appreciated all your help with the arrangements and your promptness on getting back to me with any questions.

They found the boat to be very clean, and with all the details as specified. The depth sounder did not work on the GPS console in the cockpit, and there were some issues with the alarm setting. ( The alarm went off on the depth at 10 meters....which meant the depth sounder was in a constant alarm state(noise!) while anchoring. ). The outboard motor stopped functioning day 4 or 5 ( bad gas?) .

Overall they were very satisfied and we would use your company again.
