Gulet Trip on M/S Remo

Our first experience on a Gulet we had in these last September days (2018). After an ?nternet research I contacted Mr Necmi Artar for a 5 day trip for 2 person. He proposed for 2 people a trip with the boat M/S Remo with the Captains Celal and Ismet (his son) and the younger son Emir. Today will finish our small adventure in the Gulf of Gökova Körfezi and we are really sorry.

The boat is comfortable with a big master cabin and as we are only 2 people we can put the luggage in a smaller cabin. We stopped and stayed in beautiful lonely bays with cristal clear water. Sometimes we could go on the islands to have nice walks in the pine forest. Every day Isemt and Emir cooked delicious Turkish specialities with a lot of fresh vegetables. Everything was very tasty and we discovered the variety of Turkish specialities. Celal the younger son took care of cleaning, anchoring. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The father speaks a little bit of English, enough to have some nice chat. The best months are June and September, water is still 25° warm but not many Gulets are around and you really enjoy peace and heaven. The family is really lovely and they know the best bays to stay. We could not have a better boat. We felt like honeymooners! (after 13 years of marriage)

PS: The wines we could order on the winelist were really good!

Efficiently designed website makes the searching process much faster and easier. Our correspondence with Necmi was always prompt and up to the point. What a great vacation we had! Our sailing journey along the turquoise coast was magnificent. From the very beginning when our flights were delayed and then changed, we were supported by Boating Turkey to ensure our safe and timely arrival to Bodrum for our sailing adventure. Our yacht was waiting for us in pristine condition and met all our expectations and more (air conditioning). While sailing, we were provided with text messages if there were to be any sailing conditions that we should be aware of. We felt informed and confident so that we could enjoy our sailing and touring. We appreciated the initial charting discussions which gave us insight into harbors and islands that we might otherwise have missed, and these often became our favorite sailing destinations. We realize that we saw a very little of the Turkish coast and we look forward to the day when we can sail again with Boating Turkey. Keep up the good work and we look forward to sailing with you again.
