Your Dalaman pick-up and drop off was ready to go and Gocek was a nice little town with easy shopping and free delivery, we stayed the previous night at Gorkem Apartments which were absolutely superb with a fabulous breakfast. It was easy to both depart from and return to the marina, we sailed to the East and made a number of stops including stern tie-ups and swing anchor and mooring evenings. 14 days is essential if you want to relax and spend a couple of nights in the towns like Kalkan and Kas where we found loads of good restaurants esp Zula and Ottoman in Kalkan.

As for the sailing we all had a great time with Beaufort 2-7, the hand over was very simple and thorough, the staff were very helpful and the yacht was ready to go several hours earlier than the 16.00 hrs so we sailed out that afternoon and had our first meal at a 'jetty restaurant' a couple of hours away.

The Turkish marine regulations for sanitation and mooring in many of the bays mean beautiful clean water to swim in straight off the boat morning noon and night. The neighbouring yacht at one place told us this was, (along with New Zealand) the best place to sail. As to yourself, you answered every email quickly, sorted out any problem that arose, and when we had a gear breakage it was fixed as quickly as possible. I would like to thank you for organising our boating trip for our party of 8 – we joined our boat for the last week of June 2013 in Fethyie and travelled to Marmaris although we spent most of the time in the Gocek Bay area. The waters were flat and calm, so much so, it is as if you are on a lake!
The food prepared by our cook was delicious and plentiful – we had our wedding anniversary and a birthday on board and the staff made it special by arranging a cake! Our boat was a 21 metre gulet with 4 cabins which was extremely comfortable, each had own shower ensuite. Lovely front and back deck to laze the day away. Our 3 staff were brilliant and attentive, with Tegood always at the ready to refill our glass!
Nemci also arranged our transport from airports as well as the long trip from Bodrum to Fethyie, all went off without a hitch.
All in al,l a lovely relaxing holiday, beautiful scenery and sparkling blue waters! Would have no hesitation in recommending Necmi/Boating Turkey services.

Dear Necmi

Our recent two week holiday with Captain Cevat, Hassan & Bulent onboard Yildizhanlar 11 with 3 other couples from Australia, I would describe as a wonderful life experience that was thoroughly enjoyable with lovely memories!

Where to start? The scenery from Bodrum to Gocek was incredible, the swimming in such clear tranqual waters amazing.

The food Bulent cooked was absolutely devine, always varied and obviously lots of preparation and thought put into each meal, we ate like kings and queens! The chips in the morning omelette, the fresh fish and chicken dishes were a real hit!

Captain Cevat was a delight, his knowledge of the areas we travelled, his expertise sailing and handling his gulet was obvious and reassuring, we felt very safe and looked after. We appreciated that Captain Cevat took the time to accompany us on some of our excursions, we obviously learnt more about the surroundings by having him with us to ask any questions and knowing where to go to get the best view.

But the real hidden treasure onboard Yildizhanlar 11 was Hassan, his gentle, obliging manner to our every whim was just amazing. Hassan made a point to remember what each of us liked to drink upon waking, he would have a lovely cup of turkish tea, coffee or apple tea ready for us. All throughout the day, Hassan made sure we were comfortable, well fed and watered (including the best “knock your socks off” gin and tonics!) he took care of “all” our domestic duties. Hassan did this in a very unobtrusive and professional manner, it was an absolute delight to of met him. (His smile is priceless!)

I could not fault our trip, it was just what we were looking for, lots of relaxing, reading, eating, relaxing, sleeping, eating, drinking, sleeping!

I hope other Australians take advantage of this wonderful adventure and have a wonderful trip on a gulet like us.

I would like to tell you how delighted we were with our wonderful yachting holiday in Turkey. The service from you during the booking process was outstanding. In particular we appreciated how flexible and accommodating you were about working in with our travel dates.
Everything was exactly as you described it. The Dougie T was immaculately presented and the service was very professional. Nothing was too much trouble. A delightful touch was the “welcome pack” they provided.
We had a marvellous holiday and look forward to repeating it. We also thoroughly enjoyed our stays in Marmaris and Bodrum
