The pickup at the airport, the apartments you booked for us and the 50 foot Bavaria , everything was great. Your staff in Göcek gave us an excellent service. This was the first time we rented a boat in the Mediterranean and our first visit to Turkey. These two weeks we sailed in Turkeys waters were wonderful. We spent a lot of time going through travel brochures and surfing the
internet in researching our Turkish boating holiday.
After lots of false starts with other boating brokers who did not respond
speedily or who only answered one or two of our questions, we found the
Boating Turkey website and never looked back. The site was very clearly
laid out with an extensive list of available boats along with quality
photos. Our questions around boats and suggested itineraries were responded
to quickly and effectively, and we always felt that we were getting
considered opinions and advice rather than rushed and incomplete responses.
The result: The boat and her crew were outstanding - a perfect match to our
requirements and exactly as promised by the staff who helped us at Boating
Turkey. Their staff could not have been more courteous and helpful, both in
the booking process, and helping with some extra supplies on the day of
departure and getting our family to the boat quickly and efficiently whilst
making sure everything was in order with the captain and boat before they
waved us off.

We were very happy with Boating Turkey and felt that they represented us well. First of all they were quite responsive to our emails and patient with all of our many questions. When it came time to choose the Gulet they recommended the ones that they thought would best suit us, subject to our needs and budget, and did a very good job of guiding us toward the best one for us. I felt that they had good knowledge of the gulets and when we arrived at our yacht on the first day it was exactly as they had represented it, so that we had no disappointments. Most of the information exchange such as beverage selections, crew lists, requests for transportation, itinerary selection, etc. were dealt with efficiently and therefor the entire trip went very smooth. I also found that they had the best web site for viewing facts, pictures and floor plans of the boats. This has been our first experience of sailing the Turkish coast and after that I have to recommend Boating Turkey. The booking procedure went fine, Necmi provide us with all the information we requested, and all the process was as expected: they were waiting for us at Dalaman airport with a first class vehicle, the boat was in perfect conditions and well equipped, the people at the Marina was very professional and efficient, and the sailing experience at the Lycian coast was simply marvelous, beatiful weather, cristal clear waters, superb landscapes and very friendly people.

This is the second year that we have organised our sailing holiday through Boating Turkey. When we were planning our holiday in 2005 we stumbled across their website and were very glad that we did so . Necmi was extremely helpful providing us with lots of options to choose from and the prices were quite reasonable. In 2005 we sailed from Bodrum and this year after discussing our options with Necmi we sailed from Dalaman.
Both times the process ran extremely smoothly. The filling in of forms took next to no time and it was very easy to transfer our deposit and final payment from a UK bank account.
The yachts were in excellent shape and the service on the ground each time was very professional and welcoming. We would definitely choose Boating Turkey again for any future sailing trips. We haven't yet planned our holidays for 2007, but rather think that we might be emailing Boating Turkey once again.

Salute to Capitan Yavuz Kose and Cook Serkan Babayigit (nicknamed Captain Cook by our group).
Along with Boating Turkey they were responsible for one of the most enjoyable weeks we as a family with our in law children have had in our lives.
This was a dream come true to us as we have been dreaming about this cruise for 6 years as we did plan a similar trip 6 years ago, but had to abandon it as 2 of the couples pulled out. My first contact with Boating Turkey for this trip was already in May last year and I had a very responsive feedback from Necmi on every e-mail that I have sent to him. He was very helpful in assisting us in all the arrangements.
Due to a limited budget we chartered the smallest boat that we could get hold of, but we were pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the interior of the boat. The two smaller cabins were a bit uncomfortable but fine for the two younger couples in our group. We fortunately experienced excellent weather and could therefore spend all the time on the deck. Gathering as a family on the foredeck while cruising was a real family binding experience.
Our captain and chef were excellent hosts as they were always there but never intruding into our privacy despite the limited circulation space. Yavuz gave us a feeling of having everything under control at all times even during a very rough spot on the open sea when we were cruising against a very strong wind. Compliments to our wonderful chef Serkan who had the ability to prepare the most wonderful meals in his small kitchen. Lunch and dinner was always a pleasant surprise with the fresh fish speared by then at night something very special.
Even to us as South Africans with a very weak currency the trip was very affordable and goes highly recommended. It was an unforgettable week on the Turkish coast.

You get this answer from very satisfied clients. We really enjoyed our holidays. All the people we have met were friendly and helpful. The area around Göcek is particular beautiful. The weather has been as in the catalogues. Sailing in the smooth spring time winds on a well equiped boat was so easy.
And you did a big deal to our satisfaction! Already during our e-mail-contact you built up a warm and friendly atmosphere. We have always felt being well informed. Whatever you told us, it has been correct. There have never been any problems, in contacting, booking, changing, paying, in- or outchecking. Again we thank you a lot for the free ride to Antalya - more than 200 kms! - in a quite new and comfortable car with a wide luggage boot and big windows to be fed up with a marvellous landscape. It was a fortune to change the harbour because we like the small city of Göcek. Mr. Turgut is a smooth and gentle man, he did everything to comfort us. He has always been reachable if we tried to contact him. And we were lucky to get a bigger boat, so we took profit from a lot of space. The "Hey Joe" is a boat without useless things but good sailing equipment. Roll-Fock and Roll-Groß make sailing easy, especially the autopilot because we always had a quite sea. As we had absolute good weather conditions we need not bring us or the boat to the limit. Though we think she would work greatly. The plotter and the gps might be helpful things then - we only used them to control what we could see by eye. The good cards and the detailed book about harbours and bays were best helpers to find a jolly good place in a bay for the night. However, we intensively used the platform for bathing and the dinghy for short trips. We loved to have good kitchen facilities to prepare the delightful Turkish fish and vegetables. A shower in the lighted and big dimensioned bathroom was always an enliven action. We never felt cold in the bed-linen.

Our experience:
We would like to emphasize that from arrival until departure the whole trip was extremely well organized and arranged; pick up at airport, reception at hotel with room available to freshen up during our waiting time before boarding, lunch, transport to boat, were very helpulf and considerate.
The reception on boat by crew was very warm, personal and helpful. The crew explained choices for departure which were left up to us, no pressure not throughout the whole trip.
They accomodated us in any way and we can't emphasize enough how helpful and warm the crew was to us. The meals were every time a big suprise and delicious, to say nothing of the fantastic presentation!! The cleaning of the bathrooms was done at times so that it was no inconvenience to us, crew kept the boat tidy and clean. Trip was fantastic we got to see wonderful spots and we all felt sorry when we had to return. Sadly we said goodbye to the crew, but we were happy to have had such a wonderful experience for our first boat trip
We are so enthusiastic that we encouraged quite a number of friends to book this kind of trip. We are going Again in 2006 with friends from the U.S.A. who after having seen our pictures and heard the stories immediately were up for making a booking.

The cruise that we booked through you was a new experience for us, so we were unsure of what to expect. The time you spent with us made us comfortable with our choice, and the charter cruise you arranged on the Temel Reis III was an experience we will cherish for a lifetime.
The boat was basic but comfortable, and the route, which was unplanned, took us to a series of beautiful bays and islands in the Gulf of Gokova. We dined on exquisite traditional Turkish cuisine prepared with fresh ingredients. The crew went fishing daily and we dined on the catch of the day. Marvellous.
With out a doubt the highlight was our crew. Our captain Yavuz Kose, the chef Serkan, and young Erman, kept us laughing and stuffed with food and drink for every minute of our seven day cruise. If there was one factor that made our vacation special it was the care and attention of these wonderful people.

Me and my family were going to take a Windstar cruise in early July this year. One of the ports of call was Bodrum. Reading about the place and its tourist attractions, we decided to rent a gullet for the day. I am sure now that our decision couldn't be better. It was a most relaxing trip, in a typical boat, huge and comfortable, swimming in clear waters with no hurry at all. The crew members were very kind and helpful, and they cook wonderful meals. Everything was really well organized. Since I had arranged the gullet rental through an Internet site, having paid for their services in advance, I knew I was taking my chances. Specially because we would just have some hours in Bodrum, and it would be hard to rearrange the rental on the spot. I had no need to worry, the boat was waiting for us, corresponding in every detail to what they proposed us in their e-mail. We will certainly use Boating Turkey services again if we are fortunate enough to visit this wonderful Turkish beach once more in the future.
