We had our bareboat charter on July 2011. I must say we were really impressed at the way every detail was handled by Boating Turkey. They thought of every small thing we could need on board. Due to bad weather conditions and lack of experience of our crew members we had an unfortunate start of the charter. We ripped the main sail just couple hours after leaving the marina. We had 30 knots of wind which is usually an extreme weather condition in Bodrum. So we had a bad start. However their crew drove to the point where we were in only an hour and replaced our main sail. They didn't even require anything for that and we got our security deposit back in full amount.
We rented Papalagi which is a 34.5 feet Jeanneau. Boat was in perfect condition. It was perfectly clean and well kept.
If I can do this again next year the company I will work with Boating Turkey without any questions.

Fethiye

Fethiye with its cultural wealth, natural beauties and geography, is among the important tourism centres of Turkey. It is famous for its works of art belong to Persians, Lycians, Carians and Romans. History

The ancient name of Fethiye, which was a coastal city at the borders of Lycia-Caria, is Telmessos. There is not definite information about the foundation of this Ancient city. According to the first written records, it has come into existence in the 5th century B.C. Telmessos, separate from Lycia, survived as an independent city for a long time. The city experienced the rule of Persia, Alexander the Great, Rome, Pergamum Kingdom, Byzantium, Menteþeoðullarý Principality and Ottoman State respectively.

Climate

Mediterranean climate, which is hot and dry during summers and warm and rainy during winters, is dominant in the region. Temperature, which is approximately 30 degrees during summer months, is generally over 10 degrees during winter. Sea water temperature never decreases under 16 degrees during each season.
