What our clients say!
This was our first time booking through Boating Turkey. Necmi was extremely helpful, selecting the right boat for us and dealing with all of our needs. The service provided by Boating Turkey is the most efficient and professional I have experienced and I would highly recommend them. Our boat was immaculate when we arrived and we returned it in the same condition. We have sailed in Turkey six times now and the scenery is breath taking. If you are undecided about this holiday, believe me .. you will not regret it.
We would like to give you some feedback on our experience on our recent boating holiday in Turkey.
We were very impressed with the service starting with the transfer from the airport to Skopea Marina. On arrival we were welcomed by very efficient and professional staff who briefed us under the shade of the trees. Inge was especially helpful giving us a lot of advice and information on the sailing area and conditions. We also found the magazine The Bay Express very informative and we referred to it on a daily basis.
Our boat Opal was well equipped and spotlessly clean with fresh new linen and towels. Everything on board was well maintained and operational.
We thoroughly enjoyed sailing in Turkey. We loved the friendly people, wonderful food, beautiful scenery and clear turquoise water. We were also very impressed by the concern for the ecology.
We will definitely be back to explore more of your beautiful coastline.

Thank you very much for arranging our Turkish Gulet holiday in July, 2009. This was our second boating holiday with Boating Turkey, and we absolutely loved it! We chartered the Miriam Sophie, a 28 metre luxury gulet with two other families, and cruised from Marmaris, through Turkey, to Symi and Rhodes. Our captain and his family, who were the crew, were very amenable, and did everything they could to make our trip fantastic. The food was superb, you really wonder how they can whip up such great dishes on a boat! The coves and islands we visited were all gorgeous, and the highlight I think was our 3 nights in Symi, the harbour was just gorgeous, with Italian colonial architecture and brilliant cafes, then the following 2 nights were spent in little coves with the most magnificent blue water to swim in. The captain also took us to his home port in Turkey, Green Village, which was delightful.
The itinerary was very flexible, and crew happy to accommodate our choices. The boat was immaculately maintained, the cabins were large and roomy, the bathrooms were spacious and had a proper shower and toilet. There was loads of deck space both up front with sunbeds for all, and at the rear, which was enormous. We loved to sleep on deck, falling asleep with the stars at night. The captain was very skilled, we were amazed how he could manoevre such a large boat into tight spaces.
All in all, we had a brilliant experience. The booking and organization process was extremely simple, easy and smooth, and Necmi was very patient with us as we changed plans several times during the booking and departure period. The drinks etc were all pre-ordered via the net.
If you want a truly relaxing holiday, the sun and breeze in your face and not a care in the world, you can't beat this. No TV (they did actually have TV but we didn't tell the kids that) no phones, no worries.....
Scott will unlikely have the time to respond so I though I would respond based on what he and my daughters said to me and my experience. I was so sorry not to go as it sounded like they had a great time and Turkey looks spectacularly beautiful. I am recovering well from the back surgery (but definitely would have preferred sailing!)
I appreciated all your help with the arrangements and your promptness on getting back to me with any questions.
They found the boat to be very clean, and with all the details as specified. The depth sounder did not work on the GPS console in the cockpit, and there were some issues with the alarm setting. ( The alarm went off on the depth at 10 meters....which meant the depth sounder was in a constant alarm state(noise!) while anchoring. ). The outboard motor stopped functioning day 4 or 5 ( bad gas?) .
Overall they were very satisfied and we would use your company again.
