We where extremely happy with our week sailing from Gocek in June. And I would like to thank you for all your help with the booking and organizing of our charter. Everything was perfect, all trough the pick-up at the airport in the middle of the night, the stay at EFE-hotel (good standard and friendly staff) and the handling at the marina by the your staff. The boat was in very good shape, even with a Norwegian flag flying. Nice touch! We had a wonderful week sailing; our only minor problem was that the outboard on the dinghy didn’t work. Dear Necmi, Your Dalaman pick-up and drop off was ready to go and Gocek was a nice little town with easy shopping and free delivery, we stayed the previous night at Gorkem Apartments which were absolutely superb with a fabulous breakfast. It was easy to both depart from and return to the marina, we sailed to the East and made a number of stops including stern tie-ups and swing anchor and mooring evenings. 14 days is essential if you want to relax and spend a couple of nights in the towns like Kalkan and Kas where we found loads of good restaurants esp Zula and Ottoman in Kalkan. As for the sailing we all had a great time with Beaufort 2-7, the hand over was very simple and thorough, the staff were very helpful and the yacht was ready to go several hours earlier than the 16.00 hrs so we sailed out that afternoon and had our first meal at a 'jetty restaurant' a couple of hours away. The Turkish marine regulations for sanitation and mooring in many of the bays mean beautiful clean water to swim in straight off the boat morning noon and night. The neighbouring yacht at one place told us this was, (along with New Zealand) the best place to sail. As to yourself, you answered every email quickly, sorted out any problem that arose, and when we had a gear breakage it was fixed as quickly as possible. Dear Friends, I am also very satisfied with this years charter aswell. - The transfer service to and from Dalaman was comfortable and on time. - Your staff in Marmaris was friendly and helpful. - The Gulet was very comfortable and of high class. - The crew, all four of them,were very friendly,service oriented and helpful. Especially I would like to mention the captain, who communicated very well about alternative routs and destinations.We felt all the time updated. Also the cook, who prepared excellent food all week, and also cooked alternative food for one of our party with an allergy. After sailing a Lagoon 421 "Ton Ton" 6 weeks in September/October 2011 Sailing in Gocek, I can strongly recommend Boating Turkey and Mr Necmi Artar. From the first contact in autumn 2010 until the final week in October 2011 it has been a pleasure to have discussions with Mr Necmi Artar. We spent a lot of time going through travel brochures and surfing the internet in researching our Turkish boating holiday. After lots of false starts with other boating brokers who did not respond speedily or who only answered one or two of our questions, we found the Boating Turkey website and never looked back. The site was very clearly laid out with an extensive list of available boats along with quality photos. Our questions around boats and suggested itineraries were responded to quickly and effectively, and we always felt that we were getting considered opinions and advice rather than rushed and incomplete responses. The result: The boat and her crew were outstanding - a perfect match to our requirements and exactly as promised by the staff who helped us at Boating Turkey. Their staff could not have been more courteous and helpful, both in the booking process, and helping with some extra supplies on the day of departure and getting our family to the boat quickly and efficiently whilst making sure everything was in order with the captain and boat before they waved us off.
