Before we decided on our blue voyage we went through the people's comments on the net and decided on Boating Turkey. We found out that all those people who recommended Boating Turkey were right. We started from Marmaris heading Fethiye. The Kemaloglu I was a beautiful and comfortable 29 meter boat built 2-3 years ago. The cabins and ensuites were very well appointed. We had plenty of space in the cabin and out on the decks. The food prepared by owner's wife Inci was delicious and healthy. The crew were polite and helpful. We don't want to comment much on the scenery, atmosphere and the beauty of the bays we visited. The words (at least our words) are not enough to describe it. But, let us quote from an Australian couple from Melbourne we met on the boat: "This is bliss, something you need to repeat every year, I'll suggest to my daughter to have her honeymoon on this cruise"
We already booked another blue voyage in September, starting from Bodrum.

Forget about the world for a while

We are back in Switzerland and are trying to keep all the beautiful memories of your yachting trip from Göcek to Bodrum alive. From the first minute after we arrived in Göcek your team and Captain Ergun and his crew received us with wonderful hospitality and they made the cruise to one of our most fascinating vacation. The changing scenery of the scarcely populated southwest coast of Turkey is unforgettable. Captain Ergun piloted us to a series of romantic bays . The food prepared by the cook was excellent.

Our whole group will keep an unforgettable memory and I am sure we will be back one day.

Thank you again and all the best
Ulrich Herzog and the Team .

Scott will unlikely have the time to respond so I though I would respond based on what he and my daughters said to me and my experience. I was so sorry not to go as it sounded like they had a great time and Turkey looks spectacularly beautiful. I am recovering well from the back surgery (but definitely would have preferred sailing!)

I appreciated all your help with the arrangements and your promptness on getting back to me with any questions.

They found the boat to be very clean, and with all the details as specified. The depth sounder did not work on the GPS console in the cockpit, and there were some issues with the alarm setting. ( The alarm went off on the depth at 10 meters....which meant the depth sounder was in a constant alarm state(noise!) while anchoring. ). The outboard motor stopped functioning day 4 or 5 ( bad gas?) .

Overall they were very satisfied and we would use your company again.

Dear Necmi

We had a good cruise from Bodrum to Marmaris during early September of 2013.
A chef is always important in situations like these and Hassan certainly rose to the occasion, delivering a range of tasty, nutritious and healthy meals doing more than justice to the Turkish cuisine under difficult conditions.
The boat hands Arkhan and Aktihm were extremely diligent, keeping the boat spotless at all times. Aktihm was particularly pleasant with an omnipresent mischievous smile!
Duran, the skipper, performed his task well, demonstrating good seamanship at all times and proving to be an expert at preparing just about anything on the bow mounted barbeque. He chose a sensible route, selecting good overnight stops in beautiful coves, passages and charming villages. Communicating our route, advice and suggestions about what to do ashore and engagement generally was somewhat limited.
Our diverse group from South Africa and New Zealand got on really well, truly enjoying the on board hospitality.
We were somewhat disappointed that the boat was not fully equipped to sail rather than motor all the time. An on board wind surfer and snorkelling gear would have been welcome as well.
Besides that, we had a great time. Boating Turkey were flexible regarding our needs arriving and departing and we will use them again.

Kind regards
Martin and Maureen Louw and friends,
South Africa & New Zealand
