Dear Necmi, Everything went very well. The yacht – Dufour 385 – was in a good condition and, as I discovered, very easy to steer, also when pushing back. Gocek is always a good place to start, with a lot of restaurants in small bays nearby. Fethye is only a few hours sailing away. The one-way charter is not a bad choice, because the relatively long way from Fethye/Gocek gulf to Marmaris with less places convenient to stop has to be taken into account only once. That offers the chance to visit more places, drop the anchor in more bays, than in case one has to think about returning to the marina of origin in time. All in all, we enjoyed the trip very much and unexpectedly, it was as warm in September as it was end of July. This year I don't think I have a chance to sail once more, but next year at the earliest convenience, when weather condition are preferable I will…. We started discussions with Necmi some 8 months before going on holiday to Turkey. After dealing with a number of other Agenices in Turkey we found that Necmi provided us with a complete overview of what we should expect. We were absolutely thrilled with the level of service provided by Boating Turkey and have to say that we returned from one of the most luxurious family holiday’s we have ever taken. On our first day there was a slight problem with the generator of the gullet (things that happen when out at sea) but this was all solved within two hours, we were provided with an upgrade on another Gulet that same day after Necmi arranged everything.We were absolutely grateful for this since we did not lose too much time and especially since we ended up on a nicer gulet at the expense of the agency. The crew on board were absolutely fantastic and food was delicious.
