Hello Necmi, I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our trip (May 28 to June 4, 2011) on the Blue Capricorn. The crew of 5 was excellent. Maseih Balci, the captain was great. He was very helpful with all our on the boat and on shore needs and arranged transportation to visit some of the ancient sites. The chef, Muret Sener made the most delicious meals. They were so good that we decided to have all our meals on the boat. In this way, we didn’t have to make any meal decisions, leaving all the choices to him, which we all enjoyed. The arrangements made by Boating Turkey were wonderful. Everything went according to plan and I have no hesitation in recommending Boating Turkey to anyone. Thanks for all the arrangements. Dear Necmi, Everything went very well. The yacht – Dufour 385 – was in a good condition and, as I discovered, very easy to steer, also when pushing back. Gocek is always a good place to start, with a lot of restaurants in small bays nearby. Fethye is only a few hours sailing away. The one-way charter is not a bad choice, because the relatively long way from Fethye/Gocek gulf to Marmaris with less places convenient to stop has to be taken into account only once. That offers the chance to visit more places, drop the anchor in more bays, than in case one has to think about returning to the marina of origin in time. All in all, we enjoyed the trip very much and unexpectedly, it was as warm in September as it was end of July. This year I don't think I have a chance to sail once more, but next year at the earliest convenience, when weather condition are preferable I will…. Hello Necmi, We would like to give you some feedback on our experience on our recent boating holiday in Turkey. We were very impressed with the service starting with the transfer from the airport to Skopea Marina. On arrival we were welcomed by very efficient and professional staff who briefed us under the shade of the trees. Inge was especially helpful giving us a lot of advice and information on the sailing area and conditions. We also found the magazine ‘The Bay Express’ very informative and we referred to it on a daily basis. Our boat ‘Opal’ was well equipped and spotlessly clean with fresh new linen and towels. Everything on board was well maintained and operational. We thoroughly enjoyed sailing in Turkey. We loved the friendly people, wonderful food, beautiful scenery and clear turquoise water. We had a wonderful week of sailing in Turkey and the boat and crew far exceeded our expectations. Dear Necmi, Thank you very much for arranging our Turkish Gulet holiday in July, 2009. This was our second boating holiday with Boating Turkey, and we absolutely loved it! We chartered the Miriam Sophie, a 28 metre luxury gulet with two other families, and cruised from Marmaris, through Turkey, to Symi and Rhodes. Our captain and his family, who were the crew, were very amenable, and did everything they could to make our trip fantastic. The food was superb, you really wonder how they can whip up such great dishes on a boat! The coves and islands we visited were all gorgeous, and the highlight I think was our 3 nights in Symi, the harbour was just gorgeous, with Italian colonial architecture and brilliant cafes, then the following 2 nights were spent in little coves with the most magnificent blue water to swim in. The captain also took us to his home port in Turkey, Green Village, which was delightful. The itinerary was very flexible, and crew happy to accommodate our choices. The boat was immaculately maintained, the cabins were large and roomy, the bathrooms were spacious and had a proper shower and toilet. There was loads of deck space both up front with sunbeds for all, and at the rear, which was enormous. We loved to sleep on deck, falling asleep with the stars at night. The captain was very skilled, we were amazed how he could manoevre such a large boat into tight spaces. All in all, we had a brilliant experience. The booking and organization process was extremely simple, easy and smooth, and Necmi was very patient with us as we changed plans several times during the booking and departure period. The drinks etc were all pre-ordered via the net. If you want a truly relaxing holiday, the sun and breeze in your face and not a care in the world, you can't beat this. I have organised my 40th birthday celebrations renting a gulet for a week with Boating Turkey. The trip was a dream come true and exceeded my expectations! From beginning to end, the trip was perfect. We were welcomed by Gursel who is the representative of Boating Turkey in Gocek who was very friendly, relaxed and helpful. This was the tone for the whole trip. The boat itself was clean, in excellent condition and more importantly, the Captain Cevat, the Chef and Hasan were amazing. They really made the trip very special: helfpul, friendly, excellent... They seemed to be attentive to our needs and respond to them in a discreet way. Everyone on the trip agreed that they were great. The food was delicious and varied. I would highly recommend this kind of trip in general, it’s paradise for anyone who wants to relax and discover the southern coast of Turkey and live on board.
