Our holiday was the most relaxing, laid-back and enjoyable holiday we have ever had. Everything ran smoothly from the moment we were greeted at the airport to our last day when the crew spent their free time with us just to make sure we got away okay. Our crew were fantastic - friendly, easy-going and happy to accomodate and anticipate our needs. The food was fantastic and while it was at first strange to let the crew do everything for us, by the end of the week we were so thoroughly relaxed we found it difficult to fend for ourselves when we returned home! We spent every night in a different bay and saw some of the most amazing, blue waters we have ever seen. There is nothing quite like waking up in a beautiful little bay to dive off the boat for that first swim of the day. We even go to meet Bardem the very friendly seal who put his head in our boat and was rewarded with a pat on the head. I have been raving about our Turkish holiday to anybody who will listen and I would highly recommend Boating Turkey to anybody considering a Turkish sailing experience. We hope to return one day! It was very clean, spacious and in perfect shape. Sailing along the Turkish coast was beautiful. Great anchorages, towns and bays. Everyone we met was very friendly and the food was delicious. We appreciated all of your help with our on shore arrangements also. The tour of Ephesus and the transportation to Bodrum worked very well. "Having just returned from a week on Sun-World IX we have to say it was one of the best sailing trips we have ever had. The company “Boating Turkey” were wonderful to deal with from the very first email from Necmi. The “4 star” boat was very comfortable, well maintained and the captain and crew were excellent and waited on us hand and foot. The weather was excellent, sun shining every day and we visited some lovely bays and most of us swam every day. The water was crystal clear in most bays and although a little on the chilly side some days as it is tends to be in the Mediterranean, it was great to warm up in the sun then jump in to cool off. The chef was excellent and most of the food was typical Turkish style, made with very fresh ingredients and very tasty. The crew made a big effort to please everyone which is quite a feat in a party of 19 and also adapted meals to meet the special dietary requirements of some of our group. Although the group was large the boat was even larger and there was a cabin with ensuite for every 2 or 3 people and of course there was huge amounts of deck space to sunbathe, read or just lounge around. Some nights were warm and some people slept on the many cushions and sun beds up on deck but others found it was cool enough to sleep in their cabins with or without the air-conditioning working which was only when the generator was on. Having sailed at various places around the world on both bareboat and crewed charters over the last 32 years, we feel well qualified to say that this was a wonderful experience and we would love to sail with Boating Turkey again. We've been back in Australia for 2 weeks now. It's winter here and the hot sunny days in Turkey seem like another world. We all had a wonderful week on the catamaran, 'Sweet Kitty' . The friends who sailed with us thoroughly enjoyed it and have thanked me for making the booking. The wind was a little elusive and we had to motor more often than we had hoped but she sailed well when we were able to. We found good moorings and enjoyed the local cuisine as well as visiting local shops and cooking on board other nights. The clear sea was a pleasure to swim and snorkel in. The transport to and from the airport worked out well, as did the accommodation you booked for us for 2 nights after returning the boat.
