Our holiday was the most relaxing, laid-back and enjoyable holiday we have ever had. Everything ran smoothly from the moment we were greeted at the airport to our last day when the crew spent their free time with us just to make sure we got away okay. Our crew were fantastic - friendly, easy-going and happy to accomodate and anticipate our needs. The food was fantastic and while it was at first strange to let the crew do everything for us, by the end of the week we were so thoroughly relaxed we found it difficult to fend for ourselves when we returned home! We spent every night in a different bay and saw some of the most amazing, blue waters we have ever seen. There is nothing quite like waking up in a beautiful little bay to dive off the boat for that first swim of the day. We even go to meet Bardem the very friendly seal who put his head in our boat and was rewarded with a pat on the head. I have been raving about our Turkish holiday to anybody who will listen and I would highly recommend Boating Turkey to anybody considering a Turkish sailing experience. We hope to return one day! Dear Necmi Our recent two week holiday with Captain Cevat, Hassan & Bulent onboard Yildizhanlar 11 with 3 other couples from Australia, I would describe as a wonderful life experience that was thoroughly enjoyable with lovely memories! Where to start? The scenery from Bodrum to Gocek was incredible, the swimming in such clear tranqual waters amazing. The food Bulent cooked was absolutely devine, always varied and obviously lots of preparation and thought put into each meal, we ate like kings and queens! The chips in the morning omelette, the fresh fish and chicken dishes were a real hit! Captain Cevat was a delight, his knowledge of the areas we travelled, his expertise sailing and handling his gulet was obvious and reassuring, we felt very safe and looked after. We appreciated that Captain Cevat took the time to accompany us on some of our excursions, we obviously learnt more about the surroundings by having him with us to ask any questions and knowing where to go to get the best view. But the real hidden treasure onboard Yildizhanlar 11 was Hassan, his gentle, obliging manner to our every whim was just amazing. Hassan made a point to remember what each of us liked to drink upon waking, he would have a lovely cup of turkish tea, coffee or apple tea ready for us. All throughout the day, Hassan made sure we were comfortable, well fed and watered (including the best “knock your socks off” gin and tonics!) he took care of “all” our domestic duties. Hassan did this in a very unobtrusive and professional manner, it was an absolute delight to of met him. (His smile is priceless!) I could not fault our trip, it was just what we were looking for, lots of relaxing, reading, eating, relaxing, sleeping, eating, drinking, sleeping! Me and my family were going to take a Windstar cruise in early July this year. One of the ports of call was Bodrum. Reading about the place and its tourist attractions, we decided to rent a gullet for the day. I am sure now that our decision couldn't be better. It was a most relaxing trip, in a typical boat, huge and comfortable, swimming in clear waters with no hurry at all. The crew members were very kind and helpful, and they cook wonderful meals. Everything was really well organized. Since I had arranged the gullet rental through an Internet site, having paid for their services in advance, I knew I was taking my chances. Specially because we would just have some hours in Bodrum, and it would be hard to rearrange the rental on the spot. I had no need to worry, the boat was waiting for us, corresponding in every detail to what they proposed us in their e-mail. We will certainly use Boating Turkey services again if we are fortunate enough to visit this wonderful Turkish beach once more in the future. I have organised my 40th birthday celebrations renting a gulet for a week with Boating Turkey. The trip was a dream come true and exceeded my expectations! From beginning to end, the trip was perfect. We were welcomed by Gursel who is the representative of Boating Turkey in Gocek who was very friendly, relaxed and helpful. This was the tone for the whole trip. The boat itself was clean, in excellent condition and more importantly, the Captain Cevat, the Chef and Hasan were amazing. They really made the trip very special: helfpul, friendly, excellent... They seemed to be attentive to our needs and respond to them in a discreet way. Everyone on the trip agreed that they were great. The food was delicious and varied. I would highly recommend this kind of trip in general, it’s paradise for anyone who wants to relax and discover the southern coast of Turkey and live on board. I have had the intention to write this message when we are back to Norway. I had no clue about Turkish Gulets before, but after spending a week on a “Deluxe Class Gulet” in ultimate comfort, now I believe she highly deserves this classification. Many thanks to BoatingTurkey Team and the spectacular crew members on board who made our vacation memorable, stress free experience with full of generosity and friendship. Furthermore the itinerary was well thought of and the sightseeing was very impressive.
