We did have a very succesfull sailing. The boat was new and clean. There was also plenty of room to four families. Handlin of the boat was easy and pentry was big enough. We sailed to the sunken city and visited many interesting places. Weather was good with two thunder storms in the night. From the very beginning when our flights were delayed and then changed, we were supported by Boating Turkey to ensure our safe and timely arrival to Bodrum for our sailing adventure. Our yacht was waiting for us in pristine condition and met all our expectations and more (air conditioning). While sailing, we were provided with text messages if there were to be any sailing conditions that we should be aware of. We felt informed and confident so that we could enjoy our sailing and touring. We appreciated the initial charting discussions which gave us insight into harbors and islands that we might otherwise have missed, and these often became our favorite sailing destinations. We realize that we saw a very little of the Turkish coast and we look forward to the day when we can sail again with Boating Turkey. "Having just returned from a week on Sun-World IX we have to say it was one of the best sailing trips we have ever had. The company “Boating Turkey” were wonderful to deal with from the very first email from Necmi. The “4 star” boat was very comfortable, well maintained and the captain and crew were excellent and waited on us hand and foot. The weather was excellent, sun shining every day and we visited some lovely bays and most of us swam every day. The water was crystal clear in most bays and although a little on the chilly side some days as it is tends to be in the Mediterranean, it was great to warm up in the sun then jump in to cool off. The chef was excellent and most of the food was typical Turkish style, made with very fresh ingredients and very tasty. The crew made a big effort to please everyone which is quite a feat in a party of 19 and also adapted meals to meet the special dietary requirements of some of our group. Although the group was large the boat was even larger and there was a cabin with ensuite for every 2 or 3 people and of course there was huge amounts of deck space to sunbathe, read or just lounge around. Some nights were warm and some people slept on the many cushions and sun beds up on deck but others found it was cool enough to sleep in their cabins with or without the air-conditioning working which was only when the generator was on. Having sailed at various places around the world on both bareboat and crewed charters over the last 32 years, we feel well qualified to say that this was a wonderful experience and we would love to sail with Boating Turkey again. On short notice we chartered a Jeanneau 40.3 ex Fethiye for 5 adults. The charter startup was efficient and friendly. For a 2006 build boat it was in surprisingly good condition. We sailed both sides of Fethiye, including up to Gocek and found numerous little bays to swim in and also pleasant bayside restaurents for dinner. We have no hesitation to recommend Boating Turkey.
