Dear Necmi, What a great vacation we had! Our sailing journey along the turquoise coast was magnificent. From the very beginning when our flights were delayed and then changed, we were supported by Boating Turkey to ensure our safe and timely arrival to Bodrum for our sailing adventure. Our yacht was waiting for us in pristine condition and met all our expectations and more (air conditioning). While sailing, we were provided with text messages if there were to be any sailing conditions that we should be aware of. We felt informed and confident so that we could enjoy our sailing and touring. We appreciated the initial charting discussions which gave us insight into harbors and islands that we might otherwise have missed, and these often became our favorite sailing destinations. We realize that we saw a very little of the Turkish coast and we look forward to the day when we can sail again with Boating Turkey. Before we decided on our blue voyage we went through the people's comments on the net and decided on Boating Turkey. We found out that all those people who recommended Boating Turkey were right. We started from Marmaris heading Fethiye. The Kemaloglu I was a beautiful and comfortable 29 meter boat built 2-3 years ago. The cabins and ensuites were very well appointed. We had plenty of space in the cabin and out on the decks. The food prepared by owner's wife Inci was delicious and healthy. The crew were polite and helpful. We don't want to comment much on the scenery, atmosphere and the beauty of the bays we visited. The words (at least our words) are not enough to describe it. But, let us quote from an Australian couple from Melbourne we met on the boat: "This is bliss, something you need to repeat every year, I'll suggest to my daughter to have her honeymoon on this cruise" We already booked another blue voyage in September, starting from Bodrum. Our time in the Bodrum Peninsula aboard BoatingTurkey Vessel for us was definitely the high point of the year – the vessel was a new boat and we found her to be in excellent condition, with all the little facilities that make such a difference already organized. We appreciate the high level of professionalism you bring to the sailing as well, from the early arrangements to the preparation of the boat and review of the region we would be sailing in - your people did a very good job of both alerting us to local navigational concerns, and sharing their enthusiasm for the many wonderful places we visit. Salute to Capitan Yavuz Kose and Cook Serkan Babayigit (nicknamed Captain Cook by our group). Along with Boating Turkey they were responsible for one of the most enjoyable weeks we as a family with our in law children have had in our lives. This was a dream come true to us as we have been dreaming about this cruise for 6 years as we did plan a similar trip 6 years ago, but had to abandon it as 2 of the couples pulled out. My first contact with Boating Turkey for this trip was already in May last year and I had a very responsive feedback from Necmi on every e-mail that I have sent to him. He was very helpful in assisting us in all the arrangements. Due to a limited budget we chartered the smallest boat that we could get hold of, but we were pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the interior of the boat. The two smaller cabins were a bit uncomfortable but fine for the two younger couples in our group. We fortunately experienced excellent weather and could therefore spend all the time on the deck. Gathering as a family on the foredeck while cruising was a real family binding experience. Our captain and chef were excellent hosts as they were always there but never intruding into our privacy despite the limited circulation space. Yavuz gave us a feeling of having everything under control at all times even during a very rough spot on the open sea when we were cruising against a very strong wind. Compliments to our wonderful chef Serkan who had the ability to prepare the most wonderful meals in his small kitchen. Lunch and dinner was always a pleasant surprise with the fresh fish speared by then at night something very special. Even to us as South Africans with a very weak currency the trip was very affordable and goes highly recommended. It was an unforgettable week on the Turkish coast. On behalf of my frinds as well, I want to give you a feedback of our holiday through Boating Turkey: The boat was nice, clean, all the stuff was in order: They did a very good job; The skipper was professional, kind, nice, patient and prudent. It’s true that our experience with BOATING TURKEY has been very successful and we are left with huge desire to return to Turkey to continue sailing and keep discovering and enjoying so many places we did not know. Although our decision to come to Turkey was taken later the whole relationship during the contact, posterior talks and conclusion of the rental boat were excellent as well the state of the ship and all the support received in Yalikavak. I have had the intention to write this message when we are back to Norway. I had no clue about Turkish Gulets before, but after spending a week on a “Deluxe Class Gulet” in ultimate comfort, now I believe she highly deserves this classification.
