This has been our first experience of sailing the Turkish coast and after that I have to recommend Boating Turkey. The booking procedure went fine, Necmi provide us with all the information we requested, and all the process was as expected: they were waiting for us at Dalaman airport with a first class vehicle, the boat was in perfect conditions and well equipped, the people at the Marina was very professional and efficient, and the sailing experience at the Lycian coast was simply marvelous, beatiful weather, cristal clear waters, superb landscapes and very friendly people. I have enjoyed renting sailboats from the Moorings for over 30 years, but I must say BOATING TURKEY was every bit as professional and provided more personal attention to my needs and questions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Some of us had been on a gulet before as you know but for my brother and his wife it was their first time. They like us had a great time and even though my sister in law cannot swim, the crew were very kind and took her ashore so she could wade and bathe in the shallow waters every time we moored up in a bay. Your service was first class from the moment Deborah started dealing with you to them moment we sadly said goodbye. The crew, JJ, Abdullah and Mamet were excellent hosts and would not let us do a thing. Their little surprises for my birthday were brilliant and the food was fantastic and the boat very comfortable. Dear Necmi, Everything went very well. The yacht – Dufour 385 – was in a good condition and, as I discovered, very easy to steer, also when pushing back. Gocek is always a good place to start, with a lot of restaurants in small bays nearby. Fethye is only a few hours sailing away. The one-way charter is not a bad choice, because the relatively long way from Fethye/Gocek gulf to Marmaris with less places convenient to stop has to be taken into account only once. That offers the chance to visit more places, drop the anchor in more bays, than in case one has to think about returning to the marina of origin in time. All in all, we enjoyed the trip very much and unexpectedly, it was as warm in September as it was end of July. This year I don't think I have a chance to sail once more, but next year at the earliest convenience, when weather condition are preferable I will….
