I have enjoyed renting sailboats from the Moorings for over 30 years, but I must say BOATING TURKEY was every bit as professional and provided more personal attention to my needs and questions. The boat was in excellent condition with everything as promised. Since I am getting on in age and did not know the waters, I asked for a captain to help us. His sea knowledge was exceptional and he actually became part of our "sailing family" and greatly enhanced our Turkish experience. Hello Necmi, I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our trip (May 28 to June 4, 2011) on the Blue Capricorn. The crew of 5 was excellent. Maseih Balci, the captain was great. He was very helpful with all our on the boat and on shore needs and arranged transportation to visit some of the ancient sites. The chef, Muret Sener made the most delicious meals. They were so good that we decided to have all our meals on the boat. In this way, we didn’t have to make any meal decisions, leaving all the choices to him, which we all enjoyed. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Some of us had been on a gulet before as you know but for my brother and his wife it was their first time. They like us had a great time and even though my sister in law cannot swim, the crew were very kind and took her ashore so she could wade and bathe in the shallow waters every time we moored up in a bay. Your service was first class from the moment Deborah started dealing with you to them moment we sadly said goodbye. The crew, JJ, Abdullah and Mamet were excellent hosts and would not let us do a thing. Their little surprises for my birthday were brilliant and the food was fantastic and the boat very comfortable. This is the second year that we have organised our sailing holiday through Boating Turkey. When we were planning our holiday in 2005 we stumbled across their website and were very glad that we did so . Necmi was extremely helpful providing us with lots of options to choose from and the prices were quite reasonable. In 2005 we sailed from Bodrum and this year after discussing our options with Necmi we sailed from Dalaman. Both times the process ran extremely smoothly. The filling in of forms took next to no time and it was very easy to transfer our deposit and final payment from a UK bank account. The yachts were in excellent shape and the service on the ground each time was very professional and welcoming. We would definitely choose Boating Turkey again for any future sailing trips.
