We started discussions with Necmi some 8 months before going on holiday to Turkey. After dealing with a number of other Agenices in Turkey we found that Necmi provided us with a complete overview of what we should expect. We were absolutely thrilled with the level of service provided by Boating Turkey and have to say that we returned from one of the most luxurious family holiday’s we have ever taken. On our first day there was a slight problem with the generator of the gullet (things that happen when out at sea) but this was all solved within two hours, we were provided with an upgrade on another Gulet that same day after Necmi arranged everything.We were absolutely grateful for this since we did not lose too much time and especially since we ended up on a nicer gulet at the expense of the agency. The crew on board were absolutely fantastic and food was delicious. Me and my family were going to take a Windstar cruise in early July this year. One of the ports of call was Bodrum. Reading about the place and its tourist attractions, we decided to rent a gullet for the day. I am sure now that our decision couldn't be better. It was a most relaxing trip, in a typical boat, huge and comfortable, swimming in clear waters with no hurry at all. The crew members were very kind and helpful, and they cook wonderful meals. Everything was really well organized. Since I had arranged the gullet rental through an Internet site, having paid for their services in advance, I knew I was taking my chances. Specially because we would just have some hours in Bodrum, and it would be hard to rearrange the rental on the spot. I had no need to worry, the boat was waiting for us, corresponding in every detail to what they proposed us in their e-mail. We will certainly use Boating Turkey services again if we are fortunate enough to visit this wonderful Turkish beach once more in the future. Dear Necmi, Your Dalaman pick-up and drop off was ready to go and Gocek was a nice little town with easy shopping and free delivery, we stayed the previous night at Gorkem Apartments which were absolutely superb with a fabulous breakfast. It was easy to both depart from and return to the marina, we sailed to the East and made a number of stops including stern tie-ups and swing anchor and mooring evenings. 14 days is essential if you want to relax and spend a couple of nights in the towns like Kalkan and Kas where we found loads of good restaurants esp Zula and Ottoman in Kalkan. As for the sailing we all had a great time with Beaufort 2-7, the hand over was very simple and thorough, the staff were very helpful and the yacht was ready to go several hours earlier than the 16.00 hrs so we sailed out that afternoon and had our first meal at a 'jetty restaurant' a couple of hours away. The Turkish marine regulations for sanitation and mooring in many of the bays mean beautiful clean water to swim in straight off the boat morning noon and night. The neighbouring yacht at one place told us this was, (along with New Zealand) the best place to sail. As to yourself, you answered every email quickly, sorted out any problem that arose, and when we had a gear breakage it was fixed as quickly as possible.
